Our cooperation with Prof. Mahnken and his team started in 2019. The fruitful collaboration has already resulted in two peer-reviewed publications about the advantages of DVA. The clinical studies demonstrated the usability of DVA in lower-limb angiography in patients with metal implants and DVA’s better image quality in selective lower limb interventions.
We have started our collaboration with Kinepict 3 years ago and our primary focus was to conduct studies on the possible use of the Digital Variance Angiography (DVA) technology in different embolization settings. Very early on after the installation, we have realised its potential and started to use the Kinepict software in our daily work for prostatic artery embolization (PAE) and liver transarterial chemoembolization (TACE). We are pleased with the high-quality DVA images and believe that the Kinepict technology will be a valuable support in PAE and TACE procedures.
The cooperation between Prof. Verhoeven and Kinepict has started in 2018 and resulted in scientific presentations at CIRSE, RSNA and ESVS. The topic of interest is the use of DVA in fenestrated and branched endovascular aortic aneurysm repair (EVAR) procedures and to achieve significant radiation exposure reduction in these interventions.
